Music does not just occur out of nothing; it needs to be pulled from somewhere. When it comes to of Art, an Image, a Sound, or a feeling, etc. What is inspiring that visual or acoustic representation? Perhaps you’ll think about the same inspirations that struck the song writer, effectively translating that musical inspiration into an image. I’ve always been influenced by psychedelic art and of course Rodger Dean and his “YES,” Album covers were a big influence on me.
